Portnoy's Complaint is a filthy masterpiece. I'm reading my first Philip Roth novel, Portnoy's Complaint. I don't like the main character. Please tell me "Portnoy's Complaint" was added to that graphic sometime after I made that joke, because this does not make me feel good about my powers of observation. There's so much I love about it but so much I don't like. I don't ever want to go back to that sewer! But who is Portnoy mocking exactly? A quote from "Portnoy's Complaint".
